Roast Design Coffee is a specialty coffee shop in Shin-Yurigaoka with the concept of "enjoying coffee". The shop was established by Mikami Hitomi , who placed second in the Japan Aeropress Championship, and Hitomi Ryo, who serves as the coach for Japan at the World Roasting Championships (WCRC). They always have about 10 types of coffee beans available so that you can enjoy the different flavors of each origin. They also offer an original attempt at infusion coffee, where raw beans are soaked in distilled liquor before being roasted, proposing a new way to enjoy coffee.

"An exotic Ethiopian coffee from Panama with a flavor reminiscent of berries and apple tea."

#
These coffee beans are close to the quality of the original Ethiopian beans, and are full of character reminiscent of the southern Yirgacheffe and West Guji regions. It has a berry and apple tea flavor and an exotic feel.

In order to bring out the natural berry and black tea flavors of Ethiopia, we roast it in a light roast range that is suitable for cupping. Since the natural refining process gives it a strong winey flavor, we would like to rebalance the flavor so that the original character is not masked.

Panama Kotowa Farm is a prestigious farm located in the Boquete region, the country's most famous coffee producing region. Geisha variety is famous for its Ethiopian varieties in Panama, but this lot is also an original Ethiopian coffee. Until now, no matter how excellent the terroir, the unique characteristics of the land, traditional Central American varieties have never produced an Ethiopian flavor. However, even though this lot does not have an official variety name, you can still feel a clear Ethiopian character. This clearly shows that the flavor of this coffee is a characteristic that is originally possessed by the current indigenous Ethiopian variety (Hairloom). We hope you will enjoy this coffee that reminds you of Ethiopia even in a place far from your birthplace.

An exotic and mysterious coffee born in Panama's famous gardens

Ricardo Coiner's Cottowa Farm is highly regarded around the world as a leader in specialty coffee cultivation in Panama.

Here is an exotic and very impressive coffee born here. He inherited 166 Ethiopian wild varieties cultivated at CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research Center) in Panama, and began cultivating them to select varieties that would suit his farm. There were only a few plants of each variety, and this coffee was a blend of all the Ethiopian wild varieties harvested in the first year.

It was a very complex coffee with an exotic, perfume-like impression. It is characterized by blueberry and blackberry acidity and a long aftertaste of sweetness. Please enjoy the unique taste.

It's possible because it's CROWD ROASTER
A combination of top roasters and high quality raw beans.
A unique taste.
Please enjoy our special coffee.
