"Thank you for your request! People who don't like Kenya. I'll let you do whatever you want!"

I sometimes hear people who are accustomed to specialty coffee shy away from Kenyan light roasts, saying that they are a bit too much.

Kenyan washed beers tend to have a sharp acidity, which is one of their characteristics, but on the other hand, there seems to be a certain number of people who find them difficult to drink.

I would like to try roasting Kenyan light roast coffee, which many people find easy and delicious. What should I do to achieve this?

We fought against Kenya, suffering many setbacks and crying many times.

First, we need to round off the sourness and soften it. Then we need to make it smooth on the palate. Then we need to create a solid foundation of sweetness.

On top of that, how far can we enhance the flavor and how far can we express the character's outline, including the after-effect?

These should be controllable to some extent through roasting.

The cup comment is red fruit with berry sweetness. Butyric acid like the top layer of yogurt. Baked apple towards the aftertaste.

A light roast from Kenya with a moderate roundness and firm sweetness. Please try it.

For information on the farms and other information on the green beans, please refer to the Green Beans page. Thank you.

Distinctive sweetness, berry and complex flavors unique to Kenya Nyeri

Top quality coffee from Kenya's Nyeri region, which is by far the most famous and high quality coffee in Africa. You can enjoy the sharp presence of citrus fruits typical of Kenyan washed wine.

In addition to the berry flavor typical of Nieri, it has a creamy texture and an apricot-like sweetness. It features a complex flavor that leans towards the sweet side.
The varieties consist of SL28 and SL34, and are harvested at an altitude of around 1600m. You can also feel the refreshing aftertaste that is unique to free washed.

The Kiamavala Coffee Factory is a washing station belonging to the Mugaga Agricultural Cooperative, a group of 900 local farmers. It was established in the early 1980s near Karatina, Nyeri County, to process the cherries they produced.

This factory strives to create a sustainable farm, aiming to stabilize production and improve quality through farm training and seminars. In addition, managers receive training every year and are proactive in incorporating the latest information.

The harvested cherries are brought to the factory in their raw form, in order to ensure quality, to use the factory's high-performance pulper, to standardize production processing time, and to allow for recycling of wastewater from the wet process.

After pulping, the parchment is fermented overnight and soaked. The pieces are then dried on an African bed for 7 to 15 days depending on the weather.
This process creates the complex flavors that are unique to this coffee.

It's possible because it's CROWD ROASTER
A combination of top roasters and high quality raw beans.
A unique taste.
Please enjoy our special coffee.
