This year, we will once again be participating in the Japan Coffee Roasting Championship, a competition to determine the best coffee roaster in Japan.
I'm practicing harder than last year so that I can achieve good results this year.
As a result, we are now able to roast coffee with stronger flavor intensity and a more beautiful sweetness and acidity than before!

The philosophy of producer Juan Carlos Gregg
Juan Carlos Gregg, owner of San Jose Farm, inherited the farm from his grandfather, and has inherited the pride, responsibility, and passion for quality that his grandfather held dear.
A farmer himself, Manabu firmly believes in using innovative techniques to increase yield while maintaining high quality. He also believes that this success is only possible with the cooperation of his workers, and provides them with annual leave, competitive wages, and health insurance. As a young grower, he is proud of his impressive heritage and aims to go even further.

Characteristics of San Jose Farm
The 3.5 hectare farm is planted with the traditional, high-cup Bourbon variety grown in El Salvador. Due to its size, San Jose Farm is meticulously tended like a garden throughout the year.
Quality control is carried out by an experienced cultivation team led by CafeCate's Agricultural Engineer Rodrigo Giamatti, who tend the trees during the rainy season and harvest during the dry season.
Taste
The medium roast has the acidity, sweetness, and juiciness of oranges and limes, and is full-bodied and satisfying to drink.
When roasted darkly, it offers sweetness and flavors reminiscent of dark chocolate and brownies, with a hint of acidity reminiscent of blood orange.
