What a lackluster week it was last week! Coffee prices seemed to be constantly clawing at the ground with their hind legs, like a tired dog after a long walk.
Last week, he showed some energy at first, but then he started to stomp his feet and eventually put his bottom flat on the ground.
Looking at the trends from June 30th to July 4th, the decline was particularly noticeable from the 2nd to the 4th.
He seemed a little anxious in the market, like a dog that has made a new friend but is afraid to approach him with its tail tucked under its arm.
At first, he struggled a bit at around 298, barking like a wolf, but in the end he settled at around 285, which was very sad.
The volume this week was a reflection of that feeling, like I can't find my favorite ball and I don't want to play!
Perhaps investors were waiting to see what would happen.
He must have been waiting patiently for his canine friends to bring him a new toy.
I'm hoping that we'll see strong coffee prices again next week!
