Beautiful Coffee Life 02

Lifestyle interview project No. 2!
We asked some of the people we met around town who live wonderful coffee lives about how they enjoy coffee!

Editor: Hello, can you tell me your name?

Mr. Preston: My name is Preston. Hi.

Editor: Preston, what kind of work do you do?

Preston: I work as a designer. I mainly do graphic design, web design, and advertising design.

Editor: How did you first encounter coffee?

Preston: My encounter with coffee dates back to my days as a student Manabu . When I was studying design, I would work late into the night, and drinking coffee at that time helped me concentrate better. Since then, coffee has become an indispensable part of my life.

Editorial Department: Are designers and coffee inseparable?

Preston: Well, I think designers and coffee go well together, or rather, they have an inseparable relationship. Design requires concentration and creativity, so coffee helps support that. In addition, I like to concentrate on my work in cafes, so coffee is an indispensable part of my life.

Editor: I see. What kind of coffee do you like?

Preston: I like single-origin coffee. I like Ethiopian coffee the most. I also like the more acidic and fruity types. However, the taste changes greatly depending on the degree of roasting, so I like to enjoy different types of coffee from time to time.

Editorial Department: Do you change it depending on the time of day?

Preston: Yes, I do drink differently depending on the time of day. In the morning, I usually drink a light coffee to wake me up. In the afternoon and evening, I usually enjoy a richer coffee slowly. However, as a designer, I sometimes work late into the night, so I sometimes drink a stronger coffee to stay focused.

Editorial Department: I see. So your day is truly spent with coffee. Is there any coffee that you are interested in at the moment?

Preston: I've been interested in coffee from El Salvador lately. It's said to have a rich flavor and a chocolate-like taste. I've heard that it has a soft aroma that spreads when you cup it, so I'd like to try it sometime.

Editor: Are you referring to Geisha at El Carmen Farm?

Preston: Oh, you mean that coffee? Yes, that's it. I was introduced to that coffee recently and I've been interested in it. But it's so rare that I can't afford it. If I get the chance in the future, I'd love to try it.

Editor: You can get it from an app called CROWD ROASTER ! You'll love it.

Preston: Wow, I didn't know about that app. Thanks for letting me know. I'll check it out. As a coffee lover, it's important to discover new coffees.

Editorial Department: You're welcome (laughs) Thank you for the interview today!
Mr. Preston: Thank you. I had a great time. I'd be happy to talk to you again anytime. See you.
