This project explores the positive relationship between coffee pots and coffee.
The third product is the small HARIO Mini Drip Kettle, which is mainly used for making a single cup of coffee.

I first came across this drip pot when I was looking for a portable drip pot to use when making coffee on the go, such as at a friend's house or while camping.

It is also very useful when brewing drip bags.

When extracting coffee from a drip bag, unlike a dripper, the spout is not wide, so it can be a little difficult to brew coffee if you use a large drip pot.

However, with this mini-sized pot, even though the spout is narrow, the pot is small, so you can easily pour hot water into it.

 

The compact size is attractive, but because it is too compact, it doesn't seem suitable for serious use.

First of all, if you want to extract the coffee properly, you will need to pour in a large amount of hot water, such as 500ml.
However, this drip pot cannot hold that much hot water, so it feels a bit unsatisfying.

Also, because it is light and small, the pot is not very stable.
A heavier pot gives a sense of stability when moving it for brewing, but because it is lighter, the pot gets carried away by the flow of hot water that occurs when moving the pot, making it difficult to brew stably.

 

 

The HARIO Mini Drip Kettle is a drip pot recommended for those who want to use a drip pot on the go, or for those who want to start dripping but don't want to use a heavy pot.

 

If you use it only to make one cup of coffee, I think its compact size will be an advantage and come in handy in many situations.
