CROWD ROASTER stock introduction (8) Kenya Tim Factory

Some people may want to participate in a roasting event, but find it difficult to do so because they don't know the characteristics of each coffee brand.

This project is aimed at such people and will provide a detailed introduction to the coffee brands sold at CROWD ROASTER .

This time we will introduce " KKW Kenya/Tim Factory/ SL28 /SL34/Batihan/Ruiru 11/Washed ".

Top quality AA from a prestigious factory in Kenya

Kirinyaga, located on the eastern side of Mount Kenya, is a famous coffee producing region along with Nyeri and Karatina.
The 12 factories (processing facilities) owned by the region's historic Baragui Agricultural Cooperative (established in 1953) are constantly sharing information and paying close attention to maintaining quality.

In this region, farmland is scattered at altitudes of 1,600 to 1,800 meters, and the soil formed from fertile volcanic deposits produces coffee with rich flavors.
The varieties are SL28 , SL34, Batian and Ruiru 11, which are standard Kenyan cultivars.

Tim Factory, one of 12 factories that produce this coffee, receives its coffee cherries from 3,500 farmers in the surrounding area.

From these, they are selected, and the grade of KKW (green beans) is composed only of beans of the highest grade in Kenya, AA, with a screen size of 17-18 (approximately 7 mm) or above.

In the washed process, sorting is done before pulping, and fermentation to remove mucilage is done using dry fermentation, which is environmentally friendly.
After rinsing, the wood is carefully dried in the sun on a drying table for 8 to 14 days.

Thanks to the careful work of the producers and Tim Factory, we have created a coffee that has a rich sweetness, complex flavor, and mild acidity that can be felt at any roast level.
The taste is truly impressive, and is a testament to the technology of this prestigious factory.

[KKW] is a brand that was carefully selected by CROWD ROASTER 's green bean selectors from among the many Kenyan coffees available.

Basic flavors: Wasanbon, orange

Kenya coffee is often said to have berry flavors and a sharp acidity, but many people don't like the acidity of Kenya coffee.

However, this Tim Factory coffee is very distinctive for its gentle, mellow sweetness, similar to that of wasanbon.

This sweetness can be detected even in light roasts, and although there is a berry-like acidity, the strong sweetness rounds out the acidity, so it doesn't feel sharp.
It has a herbal impression that is typical of Kenya and a sweetness reminiscent of white peach, making it a very complex brand that you will never get tired of drinking.
Above all, this coffee has an amazing sweetness to it.
