Yasunari Sawanoi , who had been working in the fashion industry, chose coffee as a way to express his individuality when he was 30 years old. He learned about coffee at the specialized Manabu School and became fascinated with roasting at Manabu , and immediately after graduating, he opened " ABOUT US COFFEE " in Kyoto.
Having obtained the Q Grader certification and participated in numerous roasting workshops, he honed his skills and, in 2022, won first place in his first competition at "COFFEE COLLECTION WORLD DISCOVER," a competition to discover the world's best single-origin coffee. He has become a notable figure in Kyoto.
What Sawanoi values most is the diversity of coffee.
We want to bring out the unique characteristics of various coffees and have people with diverse tastes enjoy them.
The shop's name reflects the idea that "US"—including producers, baristas, and coffee lovers—is the main focus.

When warm, SL28 offers a sweet flavor reminiscent of brown sugar, while as it cools, you can experience the juicy taste of plum and citrus.
