Beautiful Coffee Life 02

Lifestyle interview project 2nd time!
We asked people we met around town who lead wonderful coffee lives about how they enjoy coffee!

Editor: Hello, could you tell me your name?

Mr. Preston: My name is Preston. Thank you.

Editorial Department: Mr. Preston, what kind of work do you do?

Mr. Preston: I work as a designer. I mainly work on graphic design, web design, and advertising design.

Editorial Department: How did you first encounter coffee?

Mr. Preston: My first encounter with coffee goes back to my student days. When I was studying design, I was working late into the night, and drinking coffee helped me concentrate. Since then, coffee has become indispensable.

Editorial Department: Are designers and coffee inseparable?

Mr. Preston: Well, I think designers and coffee go well together, or rather, they are inseparable. Design requires concentration and creativity, so coffee helps support that. Additionally, I like to concentrate and work at cafes, so coffee is essential to me.

Editorial Department: I see. What kind of coffee do you like?

Mr. Preston: I like single-origin coffee. Out of all of them, I think I like Ethiopian coffee the most. I also like the sour and fruity types. However, the taste changes greatly depending on the degree of roasting, so I like to try different types of coffee from time to time.

Editorial Department: Do you change it depending on the time of day?

Mr. Preston: Well, the way I drink sometimes changes depending on the time of day. In the morning, I often drink coffee with a refreshing taste to wake me up. In the afternoon or evening, I often enjoy a cup of richly flavored coffee. However, as a designer, I sometimes work late into the night, so I sometimes drink strong coffee to help me stay focused.

Editorial Department: I see. It's truly a day spent with coffee. Is there any coffee you're interested in right now?

Mr. Preston: Lately, I've been interested in coffee from El Salvador. It seems to have a rich richness and a chocolate-like flavor. It seems that when you cup it, it releases a soft scent, so I'm thinking of trying it next time.

Editorial Department: Are you talking about Geisha from El Carmen Farm?

Mr. Preston: Oh, you mean that coffee? That's right, that's it. Recently, I was introduced to this coffee and I'm curious about it. But it's so rare that you can't afford it. If I have a chance in the future, I would definitely like to try it.

Editorial Department: You can get it from the app called CROWD ROASTER ! You'll love it!

Mr. Preston: Huh, I didn't know about that app. Thank you for letting me know. I'll look into it right away. As a coffee lover, it's important to discover new coffees.

Editorial Department: You're welcome (lol) Thank you for the interview today!
Mr. Preston: This was fun. I would be happy if you could talk to me again anytime. See you then.
