This Chichogallo Honey exudes high quality in every way, and is delivered with pride by the Hartman Farm in Panama, where the Hartman family has been painstakingly cultivating coffee for two generations.

 

 

The Hartman family farm is now an undisputedly famous farm in Panama, ranking highly every year at the international auction "BEST OF PANAMA."

In 2020, it won the Geisha category at Best of Panama, and in 2021, Geisha Natural came in second and Washed came in third, making it a brand that boasts unwavering quality in Panama.

 

The Hartman family, who immigrated to Panama from the Czech Republic, founded a coffee farm in 1940. Currently, the founder's children are in charge of managing the farm and running tourism that makes use of the natural environment. The farm is also known as an ecotourism farm that preserves the natural environment.

 

Hartman Farm grows Katura, Geisha , Pache , Maragogype , Pacamara , and Ethiopian landrace varieties.

This native Ethiopian variety was brought from Amarogayo in southern Ethiopia and was named "Chichogalo" (Tough Guy), which was his father's nickname, and he began cultivating it.

Hartman Farm carefully harvests Ethiopian native beans and selects them through a honey process.

 

With this variety, Chichogallo, the Hartman family farm won first place in the Varietals category in the Best of Panama 2023 awards for the second year in a row!

 

This lot we are introducing has a tea-like aroma and a balance of fruitiness and rich sweetness, making it a coffee that will add color to your days.
