On December 14th, 2025, BARNEYS CAFE BY CROWD ROASTER hosted a special guest barista event, welcoming Ishii Yasuo .

For this day, Yasuo roasted Geisha Washed coffee from Black Moon, an up-and-coming farm in Panama.

This is a rare opportunity to taste a beer brewed by Yasuo himself, who achieved the amazing result of placing second in his first appearance at the Japan Brewers Cup 2025.

On the day, many people visited the BARNEYS CAFE BY CROWD ROASTER store.

Many visitors were amazed at Yasuo 's roasting and brewing techniques, which maximized the potential of BLACK MOON Geisha and brought out an unimaginable variety of flavors.

Yasuo says he hasn't had many opportunities to be at LEAVES COFFEE recently, so it was impressive to see so many people eagerly asking him questions about the brewing method.

Also, at this event, coffee will be served in wine glasses.

It was a rare opportunity for Yasuo to adjust the extraction to fit the wine glass.
