Yasunari Sawanoi , who used to work in the fashion industry, chose coffee as a way to express his individuality at the age of 30. While studying coffee at a vocational school, he became fascinated with roasting, and opened " ABOUT US COFFEE " in Kyoto immediately after graduating.
He obtained his Q Grader certification, participated in many roasting study sessions, and continued to hone his skills. In 2022, he won his first competition at the "Coffee Collection World Discover" to discover the world's best single-origin coffee. He has become a prominent figure in Kyoto.
Sawanoi values the diversity of coffee.
We want to bring out the individuality of various coffees and make them enjoyable for people with diverse tastes.
The store's name also reflects the idea that "US" is the main focus, including producers, baristas, and coffee lovers.
