"World of Coffee" is an international coffee exhibition that has been held in Busan, South Korea since May 1, 2024.

This is where the World Barista Championship (WBC) is held, which determines the world's best barista this year.

This competition, organized by the World Coffee Events (WCE), which is under the umbrella of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), a merger of the European and American specialty coffee associations, is the oldest and most prestigious coffee competition.

The competition involves presenting three types of beverages - espresso, milk beverage, and signature beverage - to the judges within the 15-minute time limit.

This year's tournament will see 55 tournament winners from around the world competing for the title of world champion.

The competition will proceed from the first round (May 1st and 2nd) to the semi-finals (3rd) and finals (4th), with the top baristas advancing to the next round.

The first person to appear on May 1st was barista Ishitani Takayuki, the Japanese representative and advisor to CROWD ROASTER .
