easy! Easy! How to make cold brew coffee

The cherry blossoms that were in full bloom are now in their leaves, and we are starting to feel the warmth of spring. When the weather becomes like this, many people may want to drink iced coffee.
However, some people may have the impression that making iced coffee requires a lot of time and effort, as it requires preparing ice. The recommended brewing method for such people is "cold brew coffee." It is highly recommended for those who want to try brewing coffee for the first time, as it does not require any special tools or techniques like hand drip.

With a gentle and refreshing taste

Lately, I think you've been seeing more and more products called Cold Brew in coffee shops. This Cold Brew refers to "cold brew coffee".
As the name suggests, coffee is brewed with water, and since it is difficult for the flavors to blend in compared to hot water, it takes a long time to brew. By doing so, it is characterized by a soft texture and a gentle and refreshing taste.
The best part is how easy it is to make by just soaking coffee powder and leaving it in the refrigerator.

Just soak it! Easy to make cold brew coffee

■What to prepare ・Coffee (medium fine grind): 50g
・Water: 500cc
・Tea pack/bottle
This time we will use 50g of coffee for 500cc, but I think it's easier to understand if you think of the ratio of 1 (coffee) to 10 (water) for the amount you want to make.

①Put coffee powder (medium-fine grind) into a tea bag

First, pour coffee into tea bags sold at 100 yen shops.

②Put the tea pack (50g) into a bottle, pour 500cc of water, and leave it in the refrigerator for 6 hours.

③ After 6 hours, remove the coffee pack and finish.

With just these steps, you can enjoy authentic iced coffee.
What's more, you can make this iced coffee surprisingly delicious just by heating it in the microwave. (Of course, it tastes better if you brew it properly when drinking it hot.)
I don't want to spend a lot of time, but I want to be particular about it! For those who say, "cold brew coffee" is the recommended brewing method.

Personally recommended coffee

It comes down to my personal preference, but when making cold brew coffee, I recommend a medium-light roasted coffee!
I think this roast level makes it easy to enjoy the lightness and refreshing taste that is characteristic of cold brew coffee.
Lightly roasted coffee tends to have a sour taste, while dark roasted coffee gives the impression that the characteristics of cold brew coffee are diminished.

When it comes to CROWD ROASTER brands, we recommend "[CSLC] Colombian El Paraiso Farm Double Anaerobic Lychee".
The fresh citrus flavor of [CSLC] creates a sweet and refreshing taste just like lemon tea, and you can enjoy the gorgeous aroma unique to Double Anaerobic Lychee.
( Check the brand [CSLC] on the app.)

I often make cold brew coffee before going to bed so I can start drinking it the next morning. You can quickly enjoy authentic coffee on busy mornings.
It's really easy and doesn't require any special equipment or techniques, so please give it a try!
