This is a carefully selected blend from the few AA grade beans available domestically, chosen by CROWD ROASTER 's green bean specialist.

To commemorate the release, we have prepared a trial package created by three highly skilled roasters.

Kirinyaga, located on the eastern side of Mount Kenya, is a renowned coffee-producing region alongside Nyeri and Calatina. The historic Baragui Agricultural Cooperative (established in 1953) in this region owns 12 factories (processing facilities) where information is constantly shared and attention is paid to maintaining quality.

 

 

Tim Factory, one of the 12 factories that produced this coffee, receives coffee cherries from 3,500 local producers. In the washed process, sorting takes place before pulping (removal of the pulp), and the fermentation process, which removes the mucilage, is carried out using environmentally friendly, waterless dry fermentation. After washing, the beans are sun-dried on drying tables for 8 to 14 days.

In this region, farmland is scattered across highlands at altitudes of 1,600 to 1,800 meters, and the fertile soil formed from volcanic deposits produces coffee with a rich flavor. The varieties grown here are SL28 , SL34, Batian, Ruiru 11, and other standard Kenyan cultivars.

This coffee (green beans) is of the highest grade in Kenya, AA, with a screen size of 17-18 (approximately 7mm) or larger. You can experience the exceptional sweetness and clarity that only top-quality Kenyan coffee can offer.

Thanks to the meticulous work of the producers and Tim Factory, this coffee boasts a firm sweetness, complex flavors, and mild acidity that can be enjoyed at any roast level.

To commemorate the launch of our new blend, "[KKW] Kenya/Tim Factory/ SL28 /Washed," we have prepared a tasting set, "African Cruise Kenya Edition," featuring coffees roasted by three different roasters.

CROWD ROASTER management team immediately conducted a cupping of the Kenyan wine that arrived, and what's most striking about this batch is its intense sweetness!

It has a gentle sweetness reminiscent of wasanbon sugar, along with Kenyan-style berry flavors, and hints of fruit flavors like raisins and oranges. It leaves a clear yet complex impression.
This coffee has an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity, making it a coffee you'll want to savor slowly.
To celebrate the release of this coffee, we asked three highly skilled roasters to roast some of the beans, hoping to give you a taste of what makes this brand so appealing. The roasts are available in three levels: light, medium, and dark, allowing you to enjoy the differences between each level.

We have carefully considered various factors such as the coffee brand, roaster, and roasting level to create this set.
Enjoy the subtle differences in flavor of Kenyan coffee, depending on the roaster and roasting level!

The product name, African Cruise, was chosen to reflect the expectations for the brands that CROWD ROASTER will be searching for in the future.
