Is the filter of Origami dripper wave? V60? What's the difference in taste?

Lately, I've been seeing more and more shops using the Origami dripper.
However, I've noticed that different shops use different filters; some use wave filters, while others use filters designed for cone drippers.
I think the only dripper that offers different types of filters despite being the same model is the Origami Dripper.
Therefore, let's take a look at the effects of different filters.
This time, I'd like to compare the "Wave Filter" and the "Hario V60" filter.

This time, I'd like to compare the "Wave Filter" and the "Hario V60" filter.
The main difference lies in the construction of the "ribs" and the "base."
First, let's look at the differences in the structure of each filter.

shape
Wave filters are trapezoidal, while Hario V60 filters are conical.
Wave filters have a bottom, but the Hario V60 has no bottom and is pointed.
Generally speaking, a wave filter would allow hot water to accumulate at the bottom, resulting in a richer flavor. But what effect does this difference in shape actually have?

rib
The wave filter has vertical grooves that resemble folded origami paper, and it has 20 waves.
Conversely, the Hario V60 does not appear to be bent or broken; it is perfectly straight.
How will this difference in rib size affect the flavor?

I actually tried extracting it.
I actually tried brewing coffee.
We use the same brand of coffee beans, the same grind size, and the same water temperature for both batches, ensuring that the brewing conditions are as identical as possible.
I used CROWD ROASTER 's "El Salvador SL28 Washed Medium Roast" coffee beans.

The wave filter has a flat bottom, which allows the hot water to collect better, resulting in a more flavorful brew.
Compared to the Wave, the Hario V60 gave me the impression that the water flowed more smoothly.
How did the filter change things?
My impression after actually trying them is that the wave filter extracts the flavor much better.
The ribs of the Origami and Wave filter fit together snugly, creating pressure on the coffee, which seems to extract the flavor thoroughly.

I think it would pair well with natural or richly flavored brands.
Conversely, the Hario V60 has a lighter feel compared to the Wave, but I felt it was a good filter for when you want a clean, refreshing drink.

What did you think?
This time, by actually trying the extraction process, I was able to notice the difference in taste caused by the filter.
For CROWD ROASTER , I think brands with a rich sweetness and good balance, such as "[GJE] Ethiopia/Zererum/Ethiopia/Natural," are best paired with the Kalita Wave.
Hario V60 seems to pair well with brands that feature refreshing flavors, such as "[CSLC] Colombia/El Paraiso/Castillo/Double Anaerobic Lychee."
I would like to continue investigating how the taste changes depending on the type of equipment and brewing method used.
Stay tuned!
