As the name suggests, the "EL PALAISO SPECIAL BOX" is a set that allows you to enjoy different batches of coffee from the globally popular El Paraiso farm.

I asked these three people to do the roasting.

SPARK COFFEE ROASTERS Tanaka Yoshiya

Yoshiya -san roasted the "[CSLC] Colombia/El Paraiso Farm/Castillo/Double Anaerobic Lychee" coffee beans for us.



When warm, it has a sweetness reminiscent of peach or strawberry jam, and as it cools, a fresh flavor reminiscent of lychee emerges.

[Recommended Extraction Recipe]
Beans: 30g
Extraction amount: 400ml
Pouring amount: 550ml
Extraction time: 2 minutes; Steeping: 50 seconds; Grind size: Medium-coarse; Water temperature: 92 degrees Celsius

The key is to use a higher water temperature than you would for other types of coffee.
This drink aims to bring out the juicy and fresh flavor characteristic of lychee.
Therefore, we recommend using a higher water temperature for extraction.
Raising the water temperature makes it easier to bring out the numerous fruit flavors, such as lychee and peach.

RED POISON COFFEE ROASTERS, Tomomichi Morifuji

Mr. Morifuji roasted the "[CSRT] Colombia/El Paraiso Farm/Castillo/Double Anaerobic Rose Tea" for us.


Morifuji 's [CSRT] is characterized by its vibrant, rose-tea-like aroma and a tea-like, clear taste.

[Recommended Extraction Recipe]
Beans: 30g
Extraction amount: 420ml
Pouring amount: 600ml
Extraction time: 1 minute 50 seconds, Steeping: 45 seconds, Grind size: Medium, Water temperature: 91 degrees

The key is to extract a larger volume of coffee than you would with other types of coffee.
Morifuji 's coffee is a cup that we hope you will enjoy for its clear and smooth taste.
Therefore, we recommend increasing the extraction volume.
By brewing a larger amount of coffee, you'll be using more hot water, which tends to result in a clearer, lighter-tasting coffee.

GLITCH COFFEE&ROASTERS Suzuki Kiyokazu

Kiyokazu -san roasted the "[CSLM] Colombia/El Paraiso Farm/Castillo/Double Anaerobic Lime" for us.


Compared to other lots from the El Paraiso farm, this wine has a more full-bodied character.
This drink offers a sharp, lime-like acidity and a grapefruit-like flavor.

[Recommended Extraction Recipe]
Beans: 30g
Extraction amount: 380ml
Pouring amount: 550ml
Extraction time: 2 minutes 15 seconds; Steeping: 1 minute; Grind size: Medium; Water temperature: 91 degrees

The key is to extract it more slowly than other brands.
Kiyokazu 's [CSLM] is a drink that aims to have more body than other brands while also bringing out fruit flavors, striking a good balance between the two elements.

Therefore, I recommend taking your time to extract the coffee and brewing it slowly.
By increasing the extraction time, it becomes easier to express the body of the coffee.
