Mr. Fujiyama Hiroyasu , a roaster who has been participating in CROWD ROASTER since its launch.

After gaining experience in roasting at TAKAMURA COFFEE ROASTERS in Osaka, he opened his own shop, FUJIYAMA COFFEE ROASTERS in Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

CROWD ROASTER once again spoke to him about the meaning of opening a specialty coffee shop in a regional city.

Yanai City, where Hiroyasu 's shop `` FUJIYAMA COFFEE ROASTERS '' is located, was an area where specialty coffee was still largely unknown.

When opening the store, Mr. Hiroyasu intentionally did not give out too much information about specialty coffee, thinking about a format that would allow customers to be accepted for the taste rather than the information.

As the number of customers increased, he gradually conveyed information and stories about the coffee, such as the farm and the selection process.

Mr. Hiroyasu said that through these efforts, more people have become familiar with specialty coffee, and that the coffee shop has started to play a role in the local community.
