Fruity yet mellow [GJE] Iced coffee recommendation

hello everyone.
This is Usukura from CROWD ROASTER .

August is coming to an end, but the days are still hot, so I think many people are enjoying iced coffee.
I still drink iced coffee every day.

In today's article, I will share with you the iced coffee recipe that I have been drinking lately.

Fruity yet mellow

This time, the brand we recommend to everyone is "[GJE] Ethiopia/Guji/Ethiopia Original/Natural".

When you drink this brand of iced coffee, you can enjoy the fruity flavor of strawberry and the sweetness of cacao.
It has a fruity taste, but because of the cacao-like flavor, it doesn't have an overly sour taste, making it a mellow drink.

Now let's take a look at the actual extraction recipe.

【ratio】
・Beans amount: 30g
・Extraction amount: 200ml
・Pouring amount: 220ml
・Extraction time: 2 minutes 30 seconds ・Water temperature: 92 degrees ・Grind: Medium fine grind

I have explained the extraction method in a previous article , so I will tell you the main points in this article.
This method uses a rapid cooling method and extracts it into a server filled with plenty of ice.

① Use plenty of beans <br />Using plenty of beans creates a rich flavor.
There are various factors such as the degree of roasting, so it's hard to say with certainty, but the more beans you use, the stronger the flavor will be.
[GJE] gives the impression that the acidity is too sharp when brewed using the normal extraction method, so by using a little more beans, we aim to create a fruity taste while also giving a sense of body, creating a fruity yet mellow taste that is easy to drink. Masu.

② Grind more finely than usual For the same reason as ①, grind finely to get a strong flavor.
The finer the grind, the easier it is to bring out the flavor, so grind more finely than usual to bring out the depth of the flavor.

By keeping these two points in check, you will end up with an iced coffee that has a fruity yet mellow taste, is easy to drink, and will make you gulp it down.

What do you think?

The hot days are still continuing, so let's get through it with [GJE] iced coffee!
