Starting yesterday, Raw Sugar Roast roaster, Yuya Kosakada , has joined CROWD ROASTER !

 

 

We are incredibly encouraged that Mr. Kosakada , who has such a passion for coffee, has joined CROWD ROASTER team.
I'm really excited about the prospect of working with Kosakada to liven up the coffee scene.

At CROWD ROASTER , we started selling a limited quantity of the "KOSAKADA Sugary BOX," a tasting set of three different beers, yesterday to commemorate Mr. Kosakada 's participation.

We are extremely grateful for the positive feedback we have received, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has already purchased it.

For this set, we carefully selected three coffee varieties that would pair well with Mr. Kosakada 's roasting.

 

The three varieties are: "[CSLC] Colombia/El Paraiso Farm/Castillo/Double Anaerobic Lychee", "[GJE] Ethiopia/Zereram Washing Station/Ethiopia/Natural", and "[ SL28 ] Kenya/Kiamabara/ SL28 /Washed".

 

Since Mr. Kosakada has experience roasting beans from El Paraiso Farm, we discussed with him Kosakada of the remaining two varieties would be a good match for his roasting style that brings out a gentle sweetness, and that's how we made our decision.

The operations team also conducted a cupping session of the roasted beans sent by Mr. Kosakada , and we were able to fully appreciate the unique characteristics of each variety. Furthermore, we strongly felt the exceptional sweetness and clarity brought out by Mr. Kosakada 's roasting technique.

This set is named "KOSAKADA Sugary BOX" to symbolize Mr. Kosakada 's dedication to sweetness and the roasting process that allows you to fully enjoy the rich, gently blossoming flavors.

As the name suggests, you can fully enjoy the exceptional sweetness that only top-class coffee possesses, created by combining the finest quality coffee beans with the skills of a first-class roaster.

 

This set is a tasting set featuring wines of different varieties, selection processes, and countries of origin.
Therefore, each brand has its own unique character, making this a very enjoyable tasting set.

While we recommend enjoying one glass of each brand, we especially recommend trying all three brands in this set at the same time!

To enjoy all three varieties at once, you'll need to brew the coffee three times, which is a little more work than brewing a single cup. However, this set allows you to experience the unique characteristics of each variety.

For those who can't drink three cups, this time we'll introduce a recipe for brewing a small amount of coffee.

 

There are two key points to consider when extracting the extract.

When grinding coffee beans, it's recommended to grind them a little finer than usual.
Using less coffee beans will result in a less flavorful brew.
Therefore, by grinding the beans finely, you can extract a rich flavor even with a small amount of coffee beans.

By using a higher water temperature and pouring slowly, it's possible to extract a rich, full-bodied flavor even with a small amount of coffee beans.
