GLITCH TOKYO, a new glitch hub, opens in Nihonbashi [Report]

GLITCH COFFEE&ROASTERS is led by Suzuki Kiyokazu , who has been with CROWD ROASTER since its launch.
The new base has opened in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

GLITCH TOKYO opened in Hashimoto , Japan, a town lined with long-established shops, close to Nihonbashi and the Mitsukoshi main store. At first glance, the store appears to be all black and modern, but various Japanese elements are hidden inside. The store's symbol is a large noren curtain hanging at the entrance, decorated with the GLITCH family crest-style symbol.

Why Nihonbashi? Suzuki Kiyokazu explains the reason as follows:
"Nihonbashi has long been on our radar as a potential location. I wanted to create a store that would spread Japanese culture overseas. I wanted to create a store with quintessentially Japanese elements like noren curtains and ranma screens, so I thought this was the perfect location. This area, known as Nihon Hashimoto -cho, was the most prosperous commercial center during the Edo period. Today, Ginza and Shibuya are thriving areas, but we want to spread the new GLITCH from here."

The new store, GLITCH TOKYO, is filled with Suzuki Kiyokazu 's thoughts.
This historic location, which has flourished since the Edo period as the starting point of the five major roads, will be used as a platform for new challenges to spread Japanese coffee culture to the world.
