The "1CCC 2025" champion is Daisuke Sakaki of FUKUSUKE COFFEE ROASTERY , the second winner from the same store.
The final of the 1st Crack Coffee Challenge 2025 (1CCC 2025), a competition that tests coffee roasting skills and passion, was held at Tokyo Culture Culture on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and Daisuke Sakaki from FUKUSUKE COFFEE ROASTERY in Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture, was crowned the champion.
FUKUSUKE COFFEE ROASTERY is owned by 2022 champion Takuya Miura . Miura is also active as a roaster at CROWD ROASTER . With Sakaki's win, the shop has achieved two 1CCC crowns.

In the preliminary round, participants roasted coffee beans in accordance with the roasting standards of the model beans, and their technical skills were evaluated Manabu (FT-IR and gas chromatography) and through cupping tests, narrowing the field down from 100 to six.
In the finals, the participants had to create a drink within 15 minutes and give a presentation based on this year's theme, "What you think about coffee now and in the future." The participants were evaluated on the completeness of their drink, the content of their presentation, and their ability to express themselves.
The final Koike kai featured the familiar faces of NOG COFFEE ROASTERS representative Kota Noguchi and TV personality and coffee enthusiast Yoshie Takeuchi. Coffees from ACID COFFEE and NOG COFFEE ROASTERS were also served at the venue as brew guests.
In addition, there were talk shows, including a conversation between Hikita, editor-in-chief of Only Roaster, which is also a media sponsor of 1CCC2025, and Hatakeyama of Bespoke Coffee Roasters, the runner-up in the World Brewers Cup 2021, and a talk entitled "Exploring the Charm of Coffee with Talent Takeuchi Yoshie" between Muromoto, editor-in-chief of Standard JAPAN, and Takeuchi of Koike Association. The event was not only a competitive event, but also one that could be enjoyed by general visitors.

■Final Rules
・Create a presentation and welcome drink based on the theme within the time limit (15 minutes)
・The type of coffee drink provided is not important (alcohol is not allowed).
・Drinks will be served in ORIGAMI JAPAN cups
・Only the extraction equipment designated by the tournament may be used on stage.
(Dripper, server, paper filter, scale, kettle, grinder, etc.)
・One person can be arranged to help prepare and serve drinks. The person will be responsible for brewing the drinks.
・The judges will each give 50 points to the four judges, for a total of 200 points, plus up to 5 points based on the general votes at the venue.
・There are 9 evaluation items (only 9 is out of 10)

(2) How was the quality of the drink provided (taste, originality, serving method)?
(3) Were the gestures and speaking style of the presentation good?
(4) Were the competitors' own stories woven into their presentations and were they relatable?
(5) Did the competitors have sufficient knowledge about coffee and the environment surrounding it?
(6) Is there sufficient research into what the athlete wants to communicate and related issues?
(7) Did the presentation have originality and a clear plot?
(8) Are the competitors' future ideas persuasive and feasible?
(9) Overall evaluation of the presentation and whether you would like to support this contestant
(10) Scores based on the ranking of the blind tasting at the final venue (1st place: 5 points - 6th place: 0 points)
