CROWD ROASTER brand introduction (5) El Salvador El Carmen Farm Geisha

Some people may want to participate in a roasting event but find it difficult to do so because they don't know the characteristics of the brands.

This project is aimed at such people and introduces CROWD ROASTER brands.
This time we will introduce "El Salvador El Carmen Farm Geisha Anaerobic Natural".

Rare El Salvadorian Geisha , imported exclusively by CROWD ROASTER

The El Carmen farm is owned by the Alfaro family, who have a long history of coffee production and processing in El Salvador. They founded the farm in the mid-19th century and today Fernando Alfaro, the fourth generation, runs it.

Located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range, part of the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor, which protects ecosystems in Central America, the farm is in the heart of an incredibly rich forest, a sanctuary for hundreds of migratory and endemic bird species.

The family's mission has been to improve the "three qualities" of coffee: the quality of the cup, the quality of the environment, and the quality of life for the working community. They know that maintaining a good environment for coffee ensures the quality of coffee.

Approximately 60% of the coffee on the farm is grown under shade cover. This protects the coffee Hikaru from the strong sun, allowing them to ripen slowly and evenly. Only the fully ripe cherries are harvested, selected, and placed in thin layers on elevated drying beds to produce high-quality natural and honey-processed coffee. The varieties grown on this farm include Bourbon , Caturra, Pacamara , and Geisha .

Impressive red wine-like [GSA] Geisha Anaerobic

This time, CROWD ROASTER will be introducing a rare coffee called Geisha Anaerobic Natural from El Carmen Farm. This creamy, full-bodied coffee has a balanced flavor with citrus and sweet notes reminiscent of candied oranges, as well as rich notes of cocoa and chocolate.

This brand can only be enjoyed at CROWD ROASTER , and several participating roasters roast these beans.

Here are some comments from a user who tried comparing the different brands, " Takeru's Tasting Review ."

Even though the coffee was roasted to the same degree, cinnamon roast, the taste was quite different.

IWASAKI 's roasted coffee is light and bright in tone, yet has a complex aroma centered around the aroma of distilled spirits.
Nakamura 's roasted coffee has a gentle tone, a thick and smooth mouthfeel, and a complex, changing flavor centered around aromas of cocoa and red wine.
What they have in common is that they have an alcoholic aroma, a complex flavor, and a long aftertaste.

I think being able to enjoy these kinds of differences is one of CROWD ROASTER 's special features.
Raw beans from the same farm and the same lot are transported and stored in the same way, and then roasted by different roasters to create the flavor they each want to express.

This means you can learn more about the potential of these high-quality green beans.

Even though it's the same cinnamon roast, roasters YUYA IWASAKI and Yoshiyuki Nakamura commented that the taste is quite different.
Both are said to have the same complexity and long after-effects.

You can compare these brands only at CROWD ROASTER .
Please try it.

CROWD ROASTER EX also sells roasted beans that you can buy now.
Try looking for this brand too.
