SCAJ2025, the annual specialty coffee festival, was held from September 24th to 27th at the South Exhibition Hall of Tokyo Big Sight.

The event attracted a record high of 96,823 visitors, approaching 100,000 over the four days.

Next year's SCAJ2026 will be held for four days from Wednesday, October 14th to Saturday, October 17th at the South Exhibition Hall of Tokyo Big Sight.

Furthermore, from April 28th to May 1st, 2027, WOC (World of Coffee) 2027, the world's largest specialty coffee exhibition, will be held in Tokyo (it has also been decided that the World Brista Championship (WBC) will be held there).

As you can see, there will be a series of big events from 2026 to 2027, but first I would like to take a look back at SCAJ2025 with some Shin .

We had many guests appear, including the participating roasters of CROWD ROASTER , as well as people associated with the event.

First, let's start with Coffee Village.

There were many roasteries and coffee shops exhibiting here, and of course many of the shops of the roasters participating in CROWD ROASTER were also in attendance!

The most popular of the three was Tomomichi Morifuji 's REDPOISON , which attracted huge queues. Here's a shot of Morifuji couple and their team hard at work.

Daito Hagiwara from THE COFFEESHOP was brewing coffee and giving us a peace sign with a big smile!

THE COFFEESHOP which exhibits every year, was also popular, of course.

Next up was Yoshiya Yamazaki from ETHICUS , holding an original ETHICUS dripper made from tin.

The beautiful products really stood out.

Meanwhile, Hitomi Ryo of Roast Design Coffee also had his books on display at the booth. In particular, the English version of "THE COFFEE FANATIC," which is a heavily expanded version of the previously published "Coffee Fanatic Hitomi 's Specialty Coffee Strategy Guide," is extremely valuable as it is limited in number. Anyone who manages to get their hands on one is in luck!

At the HARIO booth, Brewman Tokyo Hikaru Ono and STANDART editor-in-chief Domoto Toshikazu were in conversation.

After the event, we took a photo of the two of them. During the event, Ono made guest appearances at various booths.

STANDART magazine, which CROWD ROASTER has supported, had a booth. I bumped into Domoto-san at various places.
